Humanitarian, Mr. Michael Bass, has been honoured with the Prince of Peace Ambassador award and certificate for his work in promoting peace and for his acts of meeting the needs of the less privileged through humanitarian projects across Africa.
Mr. Michael Bass is the International Director of HPGH Global Foundation and Humanitarian Project Ghana which has been working collectively in Ghana for more than a decade to bring support to the development of Ghana.
The humanitarian activist, Michael Bass serving as the Humanitarian Infrastructure projects International Director, through his organisation, has secured funds from partners earmarked to improve infrastructure in parts of Africa by building hospitals, and assisting organisations that are working to improve lives and create employment on the continent.
The Humanitarian Infrastructure Project for Ghana, Africa is a registered NGO, as is Humanitarian Project Togo, Humanitarian Project Ghana/Zambia, and Humanitarian Project Ghana/Kenya. Affiliated with Humanitarian Project Ghana is Children United Forever International.
In a private meeting at the residence of Mr. Michael Bass, the peace award and certificate was presented by Prince Emeka Ojukwu, the founder and CEO of Music Africa Awake Foundation (MUAFA).
“We honour Mr. Bass with this award to compliment his selfless contributions and unrelenting efforts towards Humanitarian Projects in promoting Peace, Love, and Unity” said Prince Emeka Ojukwu upon presenting the award.
Mr. Bass is amongst African Kings, Presidents, Governors, Ministers, Commissioners, Local Government Chairmen, Traditional Healers, Custodians of African Culture and Tradition, Religious Leaders who are deserving of the Peace Ambassadors Award.
This award is considered a tool to promote peace between leaders who will encourage local communities in order to achieve ‘Global Peace’ via addressing problems facing Africans and the entire world.
“We use this opportunity to urge the masses to embrace the vision of Prince Emeka Ojukwu and join hands in promoting peace in our various communities as a contact point to ask for peace in Gaza, Ukraine, Nigeria, Mali, Mali, Niger Republic, Burkina Faso and the world over” Prince Emeka added in his speech.
The Prince of Peace awards will be climaxed with a summit in Benin Republic, Nigeria, inviting all awardees to discuss “Achieving Lasting Peace In Africa and The World At Large” and a Peace Concert.
Prince Emeka who is a lover of music, grew up listening to Ghanaian Hi-Life music shared some words to the youths, up and coming artists and key players in the music industry to “keep moving, keep doing music, and do good music and one day you are going to be located because good music speaks for itself. So keep moving”
As part of the team that came with Prince Emeka Ojukwu is Ambassador Bob Ikediala, Media Director at Music Africa Awake who called for support for the campaign they are championing,
“I urge the governments and individuals to play their own roles. Our role as an organisation is to do outreach where people are in want and those that are oppressed. But we may not have all the resources without support. So we will need very serious support so that we may have the capacity to move forward.” Ambassador Bob Ikediala said.
Mr. Michael Bass expressed gratitude to all the people and companies that have come aboard to help the Humanitarian Infrastructure Project to progress and has pledged to continue working for the good of Africa.
“I would like to say that I am very grateful and thankful. I truly want to thank Prince Emeka, the brothers and the delegation that came with him to come and honour me with this. It makes everything that I have been working on since I arrived in Ghana about 14 years ago, this makes it all worth it. Because to receive an honour like this is a true blessing and to receive it from the Prince and the delegation is even more a blessing.
He added “I will continue to live up to this honour and I will continue to fight for the people who need and deserve the help on this continent and every country. And until I take my last breath, this is what I will be doing. Now that I have been joined by my family from Nigeria, we will all do it together and we will help the continent of Africa”.
