The Northern Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Alhaji Ibrahim Mobila has died at age 90.
The NDC Regional Secretary, Mohammed Abdul Salam, on behalf of the bereaved family confirmed the sad news to THE CUSTODIAN Online Tuesday afternoon, August 16, 2022.
The 90-year passed on at the Intensive Care Unit of the Tamale Teaching Hospital.
Alhaji Ibrahim Mobila was also the Chief of Tugu Yapala, a farming community in the Tamale Metropolis.
The family is preparing for the burial rites today at the Tamale Central Cemetery in line with Islamic tradition.
