NDC remains committed to peaceful multiparty democracy – Fiifi Kwetey

‎The General Secretary of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fiifi Fiave Kwetey has expressed the commitment of his party to upholding a peaceful political engagement and democratic values in the country.

‎He added it is the collective responsibility of all political actors to protect and deepen Ghana’s democratic gains.

‎Mr. Fiifi Kwetey in a statement to congratulate the newly elected National Executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), on Monday (5th October, 2026) said he is optimistic that there will be mutual effort to ensure that the interest of Ghana always surpasses the narrow interest of the two respective parties.

‎”It is the fervent hope of the NDC that under the tenure of this new crop of executives, there will be mutual effort to ensure that the interest of Ghana always surpasses the narrow interest of the two respective parties, so the mission of making Ghana great and strong will be boosted.

‎”The NDC remains committed to the promotion of peaceful political engagement, democratic values and the collective responsibility of all political actors to protect and deepen Ghana’s democratic gains” he stated.
