The North East Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Fusheini Nurudeen, has been reelected at the party’s delegates conference held today Friday, May 27, 2022.
He pulled 71 votes and his two contenders, Shani Mohammed and Akamara Bawa Henry pulled 24 and 50 votes respectively.
The Regional Secretary, Lawyer Sambie Suley has been retained as well with a landslide margin. He obtained 106 votes against two opponents, Dr Musah and Janong pulled 27 and 13 votes respectively.
The first and second Vice Chairpersons have beaten their respective contenders to retain their positions at the end of the polls.
Haruna Humu has been elected as the new North East Regional Women’s Organizer of the NPP and Mumuni M. Nurudeen retained as the Youth Organizer.
