As part of its unwavering commitment to rebuilding and repositioning the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for victory in the 2028 general election, the main opposition party has inaugurated its Standing Committees pursuant to Article 10(2)(6,a) of the Amended Constitution.
The committees, which have been duly constituted and inaugurated to commence work are the Finance Committee, Electoral Affairs Committee, National Disciplinary Committee, Political Strategy and Policy Committee, Organisation Committee, Research Committee, and Communications Committee.
Commenting after the inauguration, the NPP General Secretary, Mr Justin Kodua Frimpong, said these committees form a critical part of the institutional framework of our Party and will support the National Executive Committee and National Council in strengthening their operations.
They will also enhance internal governance, deepening research and policy development, improving communications, and ensuring discipline and electoral preparedness across all levels of the Party.
“The New Patriotic Party is not waiting for 2028 to begin the work of winning 2028. The work has already begun. Through strong institutions, effective structures, and a shared commitment to our values, we are laying a solid foundation for a united, organized, and victorious Party that will once again earn the confidence of the Ghanaian people,” Mr Kodua concluded.
