The Savannah Regional Executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have honoured Boakye Agyarko with a traditional royal smock in recognition of his unflinching support, care and stewardship towards the Party and its members.
Speaking on behalf of the Regional Executives, the Regional Secretary, Ayuba Seidu, described the gesture as a token of appreciation for Mr Agyarko’s commitment, dedication and enduring service to the NPP.
Expressing gratitude for the honour, Chairman Agyarko reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the Party and its members in the Savannah Region and beyond.
He pledged to continue the service and solidarity he has demonstrated towards the Party and its members over the years.
Agyarko concluded the second phase of his campaign tour across the five northern regions, reaffirming his commitment to rebuilding the NPP, recovering lost parliamentary seats, and strengthening the party’s performance in the 2028 elections.
He pledged to prioritise recovering lost parliamentary seats by working with regional and constituency executives to identify challenges in each constituency, adopt appropriate approaches, and provide the resources needed to implement them.
According to him, a strong electoral recovery strategy must be informed by on-the-ground realities and supported by effective grassroots organisation.
Agyarko also pledged to personally lead efforts to promote reconciliation and unity within the party across the five regions.
He assured members that he would work to bridge divisions, rebuild trust and bring everyone on board, including those who feel disappointed or excluded from the party’s activities.
He stressed that rebuilding the NPP would require the participation and contribution of its entire membership.
