Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has officially recalled Parliament from its recess to address urgent parliamentary business.
The recall, announced in a formal notice dated August 12, 2026, invokes the powers granted to the Speaker under Order 58(4) of the Standing Orders of the Parliament of Ghana.
According to the notice, Parliament will reconvene at 12:00 noon on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Parliament House in Accra.
