The Ghana Police Service has interdicted Lance Corporal Shani Abdullai, who was caught in Tamale with boxes of tramadol in his possession. In a video which has since gone viral on social media, the policeman admitted of trading in the restricted pharmaceutical in the past six months or more.
The anti-tramadol Taskforce apprehended the security personnel at Kpalsi, a suburb of Tamale in the Northern Region.
But in a swift response, the Ghana Police Service in a statement announced the interdiction of the officer. His interdiction is to allow for a thorough investigation into his conduct in line with Police Service regulations.
