The SOS Children’s Village Tamale in the northern region has honored the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nations Builders Corps (NABCO) for his immense personal support to the Social Center.
A Citation was surprisingly presented to him last Monday (5 April, 2021) when he went to fete with the children to celebrate this year’s Easter festivity.
The Youth Assembly President at the village, Berta Kumane Baanpoa who presented the citation read: “This is presented to Dr Ibrahim Anyars with sincere thanks for your tireless effort and valuable role in building the foundation of our future here in the SOS Children’s Village Tamale.
You provide constant support in different forms to ensure quality care in our lives. Thank you for being that reliable shoulder for us to lean on. God Bless you.”
Madam Benedicta Pealore, the Programs Director at the SOS Children’s Village disclosed to THE CUSTODIAN that Dr Anyars has always been there for the village providing various forms of support to improve the care for the inmates.
Madam Benedicta commended Dr Anyars for coming with his family to dine with the kids on such special occasion, indicating this provide a sense of belonging for their growth. She added the party is a timely intervention which will give hope to them.
“Dr Anyars is a very consistent person, somebody who donates all the time and today he has come to celebrate with them, he should’ve been celebrating with his family but he’s a father to them and they’re very happy that he has come around today to eat with them” she said.
The New Patriotic Party 2020 Tamale Central Member of Parliament hope provided food and assorted drinks to eat and dance to good music amidst fun games.
He was in the company of his spouse and children to commemorate the annual Christian ritual signifying the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
