Trade Minister Pledges Support Ghana Free Zones Authority

Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, has pledged her full support to the Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA) in achieving its annual targets.

She emphasised the need for significant growth within the Authority to enhance revenue generation for the country.

During her first working visit to the Authority since assuming office, Ms Ofosu-Adjare reaffirmed her ministry’s commitment to ensuring the success of the GFZA, as mandated by President John Dramani Mahama.

She urged the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Authority, Dr. Mary Awusi, to work diligently and effectively to elevate the institution’s reputation and impact on national development.
