We have learned our lessons for 2024 defeat – Rashid COP

‎The Northern Regional Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Rashid Salifu COP has admonished the party’s electorates to reposed their mandate on him once more.
‎
‎Nomination for the NPP Regional elections was opened Wednesday, July 15 and same closed on Friday, July 17, 2026, across the country.
‎
‎Rashid COP announced in a post on Facebook that he had picked and filed his nomination to contest as the Regional Organizer of the largest opposition party in Ghana for the third consecutive term.
‎
‎”Dear delegates of Northern Region, I’m here to humbly inform you that I have filed today to contest for Northern Regional Organizer position again and I’m seeking your support to serve as your Regional Organizer once again” he posted on Facebook.
‎
‎The “Field Marshal” as he is affectionately referred to party faithful, declared his readiness and unwavering commitment to the service of the party in the region.
‎
‎However, he admitted some lessons have been learned from the party’s loss in the 2024 general elections.
‎
‎He further promised that the errors that resulted in the defeat of the party would be corrected moving forward.

‎Dear delegates of Northern Region, I’m here to humbly inform you that I have filed today to contest for Northern Regional Organizer position again and I’m seeking your support to serve as your Regional Organizer once again.
‎
‎I’m ready to lead the organizational structure of our beloved party in this region for victory 2028 and Insha Allah when given the opportunity again, we have learned a lot of lessons from the previous elections and we shall correct our errors moving forward.
‎
‎I’m deeply grateful for your previous support and trust you’ve always conferred upon me. I pray and wish you grant me another opportunity to continue working for our beloved party and mother Ghana.
‎
‎With a collective spirit Insha Allah, we shall bounce back stronger than ever in 2028 with Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the president.
