Hajia Fathia Abdul-Aziz with one of the beneficiaries receiving his appointment letter

Some unemployed youth in the Savelugu municipality in the northern region have received various letters of appointment to join the public sector of Ghana. This is the personally intervention of Hajia Fathia Abdul-Aziz, a Staffer at the Jubilee House, to secure sustainable and permanent jobs for the youth in order to contribute meaningfully to the society and impact on the lives and livelihood of the people.

The Executive Assistant to the Presidential Staffer, Abdul Rashid, confirmed this to THE CUSTODIAN, stating quite a number of the youth of Savelugu have already benefited from the benevolence of Ms Fathia in recent times.

He added the gesture is in fulfillment of an agenda to support the teeming youth with requisite qualification in various fields of education from the Savelugu municipality and other parts of the country to gain permanent employment in both public and private sectors.

Ms Fathia on Thursday (November 11, 2021) invited the beneficiaries to personally hand their letters of appointment to them in Accra.

THE CUSTODIAN has learnt other dozens of individuals are expected to receive other forms of support soon and in line with the Akufo-Addo government’s vision to create one million jobs across various sectors of the country, more of these less privileged people will be offered other job opportunities in due time.

The Staffer seized the moment to advise the beneficiaries to make good use of this opportunity and further implored them to work hard to contribute to national development. She thereby wished them well in their endeavors as they join the labor market.

In addition, the beneficiaries also received financial support from Ms Fathia to enable their return back to the north.
