Serena Jameka Wiliams believes she should have been up with 30 or more Grand Slam Singles titles in history. The Michigan born has 23 Grand Slams Single titles and is hoping she can win more of it.
In an interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour, Williams said: “I should have been at like 30 or 32 (grand slam singles titles), I should have had it (the record), really, I’ve had many opportunities to have it. But I’m not giving up.”
The sister of Venus Williams is still aiming to beat Margaret Court’s record of 24.
Serena was the first amongst the Williams sisters to win the first grand slam in the 1999 U.S Open. However, the athlete who is aiming to break the world record could not compete in the January Australian Open following the advice of her medical team.
