The Savannah Region Communications Director of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Mohammed Issah survived a motor crash on the Tamale-Bunjai road on Monday.
However, his driver sustained injuries and was rushed to the Tamale Teaching Hospital for medical care.
Issah, who now wants to contest for the regional secretary position, was returning from a campaign trip and heading toward Bunjai in the North East Gonja District of the Savannah Region when the accident occurred.
The motor traffic unit of the Ghana Police Service is yet to establish the cause of the crash.
