The Deputy National Women’s Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hajia Safia Mohammed will on 5th March, 2023 received the award for the Outstanding Female Politician of the year at the 5th edition of the most prestigious Northern Excellence Awards in Tamale.
Haji Safia is among several distinguished sons and daughters of the North who will be honored for their dedication and contributions towards the development of Northern Ghana.
NExA is a special initiative put together by the Celebrities Charity Development Foundation in-collaboration with MyNorthToday.com and Partners to annually recognize and honor distinguish personalities who are positively contributing to the socio-economic development of Northern Ghana and beyond.
The awards scheme celebrates outstanding personalities in the academia, politics, civil society groups, philanthropist and traditional leaders who have impacted positively in the socioeconomic wellbeing of individuals and the society.
Speaking to mynorthtoday.com, Mr. Alhassan Abdul-Latif, Executive Director of Celebrities Charity Development Foundation, organizers of Northern Excellence Awards said the NPP Deputy National Women’s Organizer is being recognized for her hard work and determination to serve the people of her backyard.
He added “we acknowledge the fast pace at which she has risen from a regional Women’s organizer to a deputy national women’s organizer of the ruling party. Her hardwork and determination to serve her people have also recently earned her an appointment into the Ghana’s Hajj Board. She is an outstanding role model to the young girls and women across Northern Ghana, hence the recognition”.
The 5th Northern Excellence Awards will take place at the Global Dream Hotel in Tamale, on Sunday, 5th March 2023, from 8:00pm prompt.
