Member of Parliament for Atiwa East Mrs. Abena Osei-Asare has organised a two-day training programme for the constituency executive committee, polling station executives, and electoral area coordinators over the weekend.
The training was to refresh members on the party’s constitution and build their capacity to execute their mandate in the various communities to help win both the presidential and parliamentary elections convincingly to ‘break the 8’.
NPP has undertaken to win the 2024 general election for third consecutive four-year term and break the eight-year cycle of being in power by both the governing party and the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Addressing participants at the training programme, the Atiwa East MP and Deputy Minister for Finance expressed sincere gratitude to the resource person, Mr. O.B. Amoah who is also the Minister of State at the Ministry of Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural Development and MP for Akuapem South.
“You really are an asset to the party and the nation. We are also grateful to your P.A., Mr. Eric Yeboah Apeadu for the immense support”, the Atiwa East MP eulogised Mr. O.B. Amoah.
Mrs. Osei-Asare also congratulated other personalities who made the event a fruitful one.
“Lastly, I want to thank the DCE, Chairman, and the other constituency executives as well as the polling station executives and coordinators for making it a successful programme”, she concluded.
