Rt. Rev. Prosper Samuel Dzomeku, the Moderator of Global Evangelical Church has charged Parliament of Ghana to expedite actions in passing the anti-gay bill.
He indicated that, the family is an important unit of society, therefore it is prudent to curtail the activities of gays and lesbians, in doing so Parliament should immediately pass the Promotion of Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family value bill into law.
He said in the wisdom of God, a man is supposed to marry a woman and reproduce, as enshrined in the bible, unfortunately the opposite is being done which is highly immoral and abominable.
He maintained if the activities of LGBTQI+ are not stopped, very soon, there won’t be any generation to take over the affairs of the country. “it is an insult for a man to sleep with his fellow man, same applies to the opposite sex, all members of Parliament come from different religious background, God himself forbids the act, therefore there should be no delay in passing the bill into law, the passage is being delayed as if we don’t have Godly people” he said
