President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has finally made changes to his government after a year of demand from Ghanaians to reshuffle his Ministers.
The President in letter referred to the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, announced the appointment of seven individuals into various Ministries.
The Speaker of Parliament announced the following officers to act as Ministers in the following Ministries pending their vetting at the appointments committee of Parliament
- Hon Kobina Tahiru Hammond – Minister for Trade and Industry
- Hon Bryan Acheampong – Minister for Food and Agriculture
- Hon Stephen Asamoah Boateng – Minister for Chieftancy and Religious Affairs
- Hon Mohammed Anim Adam – Minister of State in the Finance ministry
- Hon Osei Bonsu Amoah – Minister for Local Government
- Hon Herbert Krapah – Deputy Minister for Energy
- Hon Dr Stephen Amoah – Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry
