Mr Stephen Asamoah Boateng aka Asabee (L) with NPP National Youth Organiser Henry Nana Boakye

The leading aspirant for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) national chairmanship position, Mr Stephen Asamoah Boateng also known as Asabee stormed the Central Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP) conference in grand style.

He was met by a large number of the party’s youth on Saturday amidst drumming, dancing and wild jubilation.

Asabee who also the Director-General of the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA) demonstrated his dancing skills by bending low and clapping in tune with the youth.

Inside the auditorium, the NPP delegates hailed his name while waving the Party colours and his energy level was visibly high and infectious.

Speaking with some delegates after the Conference, Asabee stated that his mission is to focus on three key things that the party and Government, working together needs to address quickly namely:

Communication strategy that emphasizes pro-activeness; and intelligence gathering and research that tracks and monitors the NDC.

The third on is organizing and energizing the party youth, women and the Nasara Clubs to get into the trenches to emphatically beat the NDC in the 2024 General Elections.

“Our Party is yearning for a strong and true party person; a listener and an accessible Chairman who is a ‘go-getter’ who goes out to meet party members in their communities.

“Basically, we need a field man and a captain to rally our base to defend our party, our Government and the power we hold now and, to keep it firmly beyond 2024.

“In all humility and with respect to the other contenders, Asabee has what it takes to beat the NDC (National Democratic Congress) emphatically in the 2024 General Elections, In Shaa Allah,” Asabee added.

He stressed that it is indispensable on the side of the party in the Central Region to which he belongs to make the region one of the strongholds of the NPP.
