The Minister for Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum has eulogized the Vice President of the Republic, Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as a man who has a great vision for Ghana.

The Member of Parliament for the Bosomtwe Constituency in the Ashanti Region whilst introducing the Second most important gentleman of the country at the 2022 Ghana Teacher Prize day in Tamale on Wednesday said, “We have a Vice President of the land who has a great vision, a vision that he is using to support our President for the transformation of this nation.”

Dr Adutwum noted the digitalization agenda and many other things that Dr Bawumia has done is born out of the fact that, he is truly committed and believe that this nation’s future should be better than it’s past.

“I think he is a man who probably didn’t need introduction either than to state that he has been able to combine technocratic expertise with political expertise and his championing agenda is second to none when you talk about his role as Vice President in the history of this nation.

“Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia – somebody who is giving great hope to all of us in politics for us to understand that if we focus and we have an agenda and we have a policy and we dedicate ourselves, transformation will be possible and transformation will come. When you see his travels around this country and the crowd that is coming to meet him; they are meeting him to celebrate him to get understand where the country is going and to see leadership in him in the coming years” Dr Adutwum stated.

The Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on Wednesday (October 5, 2022) joined teachers of Ghana on behalf of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to commemorate the 2022Ghana Teacher Prize day in Tamale under the theme: “The Transformation of Education Begins with Teachers”.

His sterling performance and contribution to build the Ghanaian economy under the Akufo-Addo led government has become the blueprint for many stalwarts and members of the governing New Patriotic Party campaigning for him to lead the party as flagbearer into the 2024 Presidential elections.
