The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Aspirant, Hon Kennedy Agyapong, is expected to begin a tour of the Savannah Region tomorrow Monday, July 17, to canvass for votes. The Assin Central legislator during the visit will tour the seven constituencies in the region to interact with delegates and other interest groups of the party.
The tour will afford him the opportunity to take stock of the people’s concerns and aspirations particularly those at the grassroot level.
“This visit aims to engage with the people, understand their concerns, and outline his vision for a prosperous Ghana. These interactions will enable him to listen to the needs and aspirations of the people, with a particular focus on the grassroots level” a statement from the Savannah Regional Campaign Coordinator has said.
Mr. Agyapong will also pay courtesy calls on some revered traditional leaders, the clergy, stakeholders and party members.
The engagements are expected to foster a deep understanding of the local context and strengthen the bond between the aspirant and the people of the Savannah region.
Mr. Mayoyo Amin Sulemana, the Campaign Coordinator said Mr. Agyapong recognizes the pivotal role the delegates in shaping the party’s future, stressing that he also values their insights and contributions in the decision-making process.

Mr. Mayoyo described Kennedy Agyapong as a champion of the grassroots and a staunch advocate for the empowerment of party youth, emphasizing that his firm commitment to the development and growth of the New Patriotic Party has earned him the reputation of being one of the party’s major financiers over the years.
Meanwhile, the ten presidential aspirants have all intensified their nationwide campaigns and crisscrossing one another across the length and breadth of the country.
They have also been throwing salvos at each other in their quest to lead the party into the 2024 general elections.
