The Gushegu Constituency Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress, Mr. Abdul Gafaru Seidu Dambu, has announced his intention to seek reelection when the party opens nomination for the constituency elections.
“Four years ago, I took the step into the election circles of the great NDC in the Gushegu Constituency after serving as the Branch Secretary for Gushegu Central JHS Branch, Constituency Director of elections and sought the collective will of the party to serve at the constituency level as youth organizer of which my beloved NDC family honoured me with.
“In all these years, I have served our beloved party with every strength and will and in all humility I present myself once again to the kingmakers of our beloved party in the Gushegu constituency” he said.
Mr. Abdul Gafaru asserted his resolve and determination is to build synergy between party’s youth whom he stated constitute about 65 per cent of the NDC support base in the constituency.
He further touted his credentials as one with excellent track record over the years and impeccable experience which makes him distinctive and outstanding candidate.
He told Mohammed Gadafi, Northern Regional Correspondent of THE CUSTODIAN that, he has what it takes to drive the collective energies of the teeming youth and activists of the NDC towards winning the Gushegu seat back in 2024.
“I remain your loyal servant in whom you can always trust. With your unflinching support and prayers, I believe I have served the party well and deserve another term to lead the youth of our party into the 2024 elections for victory” Mr. Gafaru indicated.
