In a ceremony endowed in tradition and heritage, the Oyoko family, heirs to the Agona Nyakrom Traditional Council, has officially outdoored Ebusuapanin Kojo Dankwa (known in private life as Harry Joojo Duncan) as the new Head of Family.
The transition took place in the early hours of Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at the palace of Nana Okofo Katakyi Nyakrom Eku X. Ebusuapanin Kojo Dankwa succeeds the late Ebusuapanin Kobina Atta, assuming a mantle of leadership critical to the social and cultural fabric of the area.
Ebusuapanin Kojo Dankwa carries a distinguished pedigree. He is the son of Nana Kojo Amuakwa V (Mr. John Kweku Duncan) and Mrs. Patience Araba Mesre Nyame Duncan.

He is one of five siblings, including Mr. Bliss Kofi Duncan, Dr. Genevieve Pearl Ewurakua Duncan, Mrs. Evelyn Ann Duncan Bekoe, and Mr. Benjamin Siisi Duncan. A family man, the new Ebusuapanin is married with children.
Beyond his traditional role, the new Ebusuapanin is a seasoned Banker by profession. His leadership is backed by a robust academic foundation: Mfantsipim School (SHS) he had his tertiary education at Methodist University; and his post-graduate with Swiss Business School (SBS Zurich), NIBS Campus.

In his capacity as Ebusuapanin (Head of Family), Kojo Dankwa will serve as a primary support system to the Paramount Chief of the Agona Nyakrom Traditional Council, Okofo Okatakyi Nyakrom Eku X
His leadership is expected to bring tangible transformation to the people of Agona Nyakrom and its surrounding territories, including: directing family affairs and fostering unity; meeting with various Oyoko family branches to ensure collective growth and alignment; supporting the Paramountcy in driving positive change across the traditional area.
