In celebration of the month of love, Prudential Bank Limited has added a sweet touch by delighting their customers with chocolates across its branch network nationwide in a gesture of appreciation that also supports a national cause.

The Ghana Tourism Authority and the Cocoa Processing Company have positioned February as National Chocolate Month as part of a strategic initiative to encourage Ghanaians to consume more locally produced chocolates.

It aims to boost domestic consumption of Ghana’s premium cocoa beans, support local manufacturers, and position chocolate as a gift of choice during the month of love and Prudential Bank has fully embraced the vision.

Prudential Bank chocolate 3Throughout the month, customers visiting the Bank’s branches are welcomed with chocolates, creating a memorable and engaging banking experience. The initiative has been met with enthusiasm, as patrons expressed appreciation for the thoughtful gesture and the Bank’s efforts to celebrate them in a unique and relevant way.

Speaking on the significance of the initiative, Acting Managing Director of the Bank Ebow Quayson emphasized the importance of supporting local industry while celebrating customers.

“February is Chocolate Month and cocoa is a cornerstone of our economy. Promoting local consumption contributes to value creation, offers job opportunities and ensures economic resilience. As a proudly Ghanaian Bank, we are honoured to support this agenda while celebrating our customers who remain the heart of our business” he said.

Prudential Bank chocolate 3He further emphasised that the Bank’s participation demonstrates its belief in partnerships that foster sustainable development, innovation and national pride saying, “Prudential Bank remains dedicated to initiatives that promote local industries and strengthen the country’s economic ecosystem.”

Commenting, the Total Quality Management Manager of the Customer Experience unit at the Bank, Jamila Disu, highlighted the importance of customer appreciation as a key pillar of the Bank’s service culture.

“At Prudential Bank, our customers are at the centre of everything we do. This Chocolate Month celebration is our way of showing gratitude for their loyalty and trust as well as showcasing our aim of enhancing their experience and making them feel valued,” she said.
