An unconfirmed report reaching THE CUSTODIAN indicates a radio presenter with Tamale based Neesim 100.1 FM was shot dead in a robbery attack last night at Kalariga, suburb of Tamale.
The incident according to eyewitness account happened at about 7:30pm, Tuesday night.
The gunmen are said to have stage an attack on a mobile money vendor along the Kalariga – Tamale Teaching Hospital highway and fired several live ammunition.
The Presenter who was within the neighborhood of the robbery attack was hit and killed by stray bullet.
He has been identified as Alhassan Suale, Host of a weekend educational program on Neesim 100.1MHz.
Meanwhile, the incident has left many residents of Tamale leaving in the state fear and restlessness as crime rate in the metropolis has become alarming.
The public have complained of the increasing cases of motorcycle and car snatching in the northern regional capital in recent weeks and have course to call on the Inspector General of Police, Dr George Akuffo Dampare and his men to up their game in the area.
