The Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA 27) once again brought together Ghana’s biggest stars for a night of celebration, music, and recognition. The event, known for honouring outstanding achievements in the Ghanaian music industry, featured thrilling performances, emotional speeches, and major wins across multiple categories.
The excitement continued with electrifying performances from Morgan Nero, who also won Unsung Artiste of the Year, as well as stellar appearances by Kofi Kinaata, Piesie Esther, Diana Hamilton, Wendy Shay, Samini, Medikal, Black Sherif, and Lasmid. A touching tribute performance was also held in honour of the late Daddy Lumba, celebrating his immense contribution to Ghanaian music.
The night’s biggest moment came when Black Sherif was crowned Artiste of the Year, cementing his place as one of the most influential voices in contemporary African music.
