The 2020 New Patriotic Party Candidate vying to win the Tamale Central Constituency seat, Dr Ibrahim Anyars has promised to launch what he calls the Business and Trade Fund to support small and medium-size businesses in the Tamale metropolis if he is elected as the next Member of Parliament for the constituency.

He said the fund will be used to support women at the major markets in the metropolis so that they will not go in for loans with exorbitant interest rates anymore.  Dr Anyars pleaded with the leadership and youth of the Tamale Central constituency to give him the chance to bring the needed development and transformation to their doorsteps.

“On the back of the 2016 elections, by the will of God the decision was that Ibrahim Anyars should wait till another time to become a Member of Parliament and I have been very patient. I have come back in all humility to request and plead with the leadership of Tamale Central constituency belonging to the New Patriotic Party, the National Democratic Congress, the Convention People’s Party and all other political parties in the constituency that we must go in the direction of development and try this gentleman who has proven when given the opportunity that he can deliver on the promise of development” he stated.

Dr Anyars said evidence of his track record is what he has done as Chief Executive of the Nation Builders Corps (NABCo) since 2017 when the programme was introduced to recruit one hundred thousand (100, 000) unemployed graduates of Ghana.

The NABCo CEO disclosed the initiative when he addressed supporters of the governing NPP during the inauguration of the NPP Tamale Central campaign team on Monday, 7 September, 2020.

Early Child Education

The Member of Parliament hopeful further promised to build early Childhood Development Centres across the 18 Electoral Areas to give children in the Tamale Central constituency proper upbringing.

Dr Ibrahim Anyars indicated that to complement this initiative, a four lane school bus system will be introduced and stationed at every section of the community from the North, South, East and West of the Tamale metropolis to eliminate or reduce the hazards and risk children go through on daily basis.
