Chiefs of the Nawuri and Nchumuru traditional areas in the Kpandai constituency of the northern region have promised to vote massively for President Nana Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party parliamentary candidate for the area, Hon Mathew Nyindam on 7 December, to demonstrate their excitement for the number of promises delivered and several others being delivered in the district by the NPP government.

The Chiefs thanked Nana Akufo-Addo for fulfilling his promise to extend electricity to Nkanchina and the completion of the Nkanchina Nursing Training College.

They added the ongoing upgrading works on the Kpandai – Salaga, Kpandai – Nkanchina roads and the commencement of work for the Kpandai One District One Factory project are the numerous developmental projects the constituency is enjoying under the Akufo-Addo administration.

The traditional rulers, Nana Abugubaa II and Nana Binyuji II jointly made these remarks in a statement to address the Vice President Dr Mahamadu Bawumia when he visited the Kpandai constituency Sunday 22 November, day two of his three day tour of the northern barely two weeks to the December general election.

However, the Chiefs made an appeal to the government for the completion of an E Block at Jamboi which started under the NDC era and a district hospital as part of the government’s new district hospitals agenda 111.

“Your Excellency, we cannot but say a very big thanks you to your government for ensuring that this district is also benefiting from the national cake. It is our hope and prayer that the good people of Ghana will massively renew your mandate on 7 December, 2020, so that you can complete all ongoing projects and also continue your good works for the people of this country” the Chiefs prayed.

They further gave assurance that, “We as a people, will in due course demonstrate to your government that one good turn truly deserves another.”
