A former Northern Regional Chairman Aspirant for the 2018 New Patriotic Party (NPP) Regional Conference, Alhaji Inusah Amadu (Dagomba Boy) has commissioned a newly constructed office complex to a youth group of the party in the Tamale South Constituency.
The facility is a personal support of the NPP stalwart towards making the work of the group and the party more efficient and effective even after the 2020 general election.
Alhaji Inusah who is also the immediate past NPP Chairman for the Yendi constituency believes that the party structures must be empowered to work assiduously to consolidate its gains in the northern region so as to stay longer in government.
He urged all NPP supporters to bury their differences and grievances so as to work together to retain President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and vote for the NPP Tamale South Member of Parliament hopeful, Hon Yakubu Yussif and the other parliamentary candidates of the party on December 7.
He added for everybody in the party to benefit from the government it means they must collectively work harder to ensure victory in the forthcoming elections.
The Business man cum politician in his address before the commissioning exercise at the Kukuo market said President Akufo-Addo deserve the mandate of people in the northern region for bringing the dignity of Dagombas back with the implementation of the Dagbon peace roadmap in 2018 which has brought permanent peace to the Dagbon traditional area.
Dagomba Boy as he is affectionately known nationwide further chided the erstwhile John Mahama NDC administration for prioritizing political votes to the peace of Dagbon when they had the opportunity to resolve the chieftaincy crisis in the area.
He reiterated the peace in Dagbon coupled with the free senior high school policy, planting for food and jobs, the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) are among the numerous youth-centered policies that Ghanaians must vote for the NPP to enjoy more.
Meanwhile, Director of the National Communications Authority who is also another stalwart of the NPP in the northern region, Mr. Abukari Iddrisu Aloma charged Ghanaians and supporters of the NPP to vote massively for Nana Akufo-Addo to send a clear message to Mr. Mahama that the country is not ready to move backwards.
He noted the former President during his tenure in government demonstrated to the people of Ghana his highest level of incompetence and the impunity that engulfed his administration.
“There is no other best description for John Mahama than he being the incompetent one. Sometime when you are even talking about him (Mahama), you get hungry and irritated because he has disgraced us northerners, anywhere a northerner finds himself or herself in any leadership role you work to make the north proud but imagine how John Mahama mess up the country” Mr. Aloma lashed out.
