The 2020 Sagnarigu Member of Parliament hopeful of the governing New Patriotic Party, Madam Felicia Tettey has donated 200 bags of cement to the management of Kamina Primary and Junior High School for the completion of a 10-unit classroom block.

The Businesswoman cum politician at a short ceremony in the company of the Sagnarigu Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Yakubu Ahmed Mohammed, also handed over a 3000ltr poly tank to enable the school authorities to store water to promote hygiene in the school.

Madam Felicia in an interview explained the intervention forms part of her vision to promote access to quality education in the Sagnarigu municipality.

She believes education is the bedrock for development of every community and the education is one of her priorities for children in the municipality.

“We must educate our children to become better citizens in the future so that Sagnarigu and for that matter the nation as a whole will grow. I made this little donation to support the school to complete the classroom block they are putting up.”

“This will allow the school management to enroll more students across the constituency so that they will acquire the best education and pass their exams to Senior High School to enjoy President Nana Akudo-Addo’s free SHS” she added.

Madam Felicia Tettey noted the poly tank will store water for the usage of both teachers and pupils during contact hours, intimating this will ensure the school children in particular remain safe and will contracting diseases which will distract their learning process.
