Adutwum

Ghana’s Minister for Education and Member of Parliament (MP) for Bosomtwe Constituency, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has reiterated the country’s global commitment to education, science, culture and communication. 

Speaking at the 42nd General Conference of UNESCO, in Paris, France, Dr. Adutwum explained that Ghana is actively driving the educational transformation by prioritizing inclusive, accessible, and quality education.

These, he stressed, are the foundation of a broad vision and mission for Ghana’s education, policies, international commitments, and key principles to the national development.

Dr. Adutwum also highlighted the importance of sustainable development and the reforms implemented to ensure climate change is integrated into the Ghanaian educational curriculum.

The General Conference, which is held every two years brings together Member States and Associate Members of the UNESCO and observers for non-Member States, intergovernmental organisations and non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
