The Northern Regional Executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have confidence in the Minister-designate for Finance, Dr Mohammed Amin Adam and Deputy Minister-designate for Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, Musah Abdul Aziz Ayaba to contribute meaningfully to success of the Akufo-Addo government.
The party believes the nominees have proven track records of service and commitment to the progress of the NPP and will harness their full potential to benefit the government.
President Nana Akufo-Addo last Wednesday, February 14, announced a major reshuffle of his Ministers and deputy Ministers barely a year to the end of his second tenure of office.
This witnessed Dr Mohammed Amin Adam who is the Member of Parliament for Karaga constituency taking over from Ken Ofori Atta as the Minister of Finance. Also, the Member of Parliament for Mion constituency, Musah Abdul Aziz Ayaba, is coming into the government for the first time as deputy Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture Development.
The NPP Northern Regional Director of Communications, Mr. Yussif Danjuma, in a statement issued said these appointments serve as testimonies to the undoubted leadership role provided by these dedicated and hardworking individuals.
“Hon. Adam Mohammed Amin Anta and Hon. Musah Abdul Aziz Ayaba together will work tirelessly for the development of the Northern Region and Ghana as a whole” he said.
He added, “We are very confident and convince that these giants will employ their vast experiences having serve as Members of Parliament for good years in their respective constituencies. This prepares them more to confidently manage the new roles that have been assigned to them; their contributions will significantly fell cross country.”
Danjuma intimated that the leadership qualities of the duo will undoubtedly be instrumental in propelling to penetrate through the challenges that lie ahead in their respective ministries.
“We say again, congratulations to both Hon. Adam Mohammed Amin Anta and Hon. Musah Abdul Aziz Ayaba. Your successes are beyond Imaginations and together, we can steer the fairs NPP to victory come 2024” he posited.
