As part of his ongoing engagements with party stakeholders across the country, aspiring NPP National Chairman, Boakye Agyarko, met with the Upper West Regional Council of Elders and Patrons, Regional Executives, Constituency Executives, and grassroots leaders to discuss the future of the Party and the critical role of member welfare in rebuilding the NPP.
The engagement focused largely on the welfare of party members and officers, a key pillar of Agyarko’s campaign.

He acknowledged the sacrifices made by polling station executives, electoral area coordinators, constituency officers, communicators, and grassroots activists, many of whom continue to serve the Party with little recognition or support.

He stressed that a strong and motivated grassroots base is essential to the Party’s success and pledged to champion sustainable welfare policies that recognise commitment, reward service, and provide meaningful support to party officers at all levels.

Agyarko noted that rebuilding the NPP must begin with rebuilding the confidence and morale of its members. He also reaffirmed his commitment to fostering unity, strengthening party structures, and working closely with Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and all stakeholders to position the NPP for victory in 2028.

Speaking on behalf of the Regional Party, the Upper West Regional Chairman assured Agyarko of the region’s support. The engagement was attended by former Regional Minister, former Municipal and District Chief Executives, and other senior party stalwarts, many of whom openly expressed their support for his candidacy.

Agyarko expressed his gratitude to the Regional leadership, Elders, Patrons, Constituency Executives, and grassroots members for their warm reception and continued dedication to the Party.
