Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah aka COKA

A former Ashanti Region New Patriotic Party (NPP) chairman aspirant, Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as COKA, has charged all members to support the party’s agenda to break the eight-year-winning cycle by political parties in Ghana.

The two main political parties in the country, NPP and National Democratic Congress (NDC) have been winning and losing the general elections after eight years in office since 1992.

However, the NPP said it is now determined to break the status quo.

According to the former Ashanti Regional Dean of constituency Chairmen, breaking the 8 should not just be by word of mouth but that every party member must show commitment and come on board to work as a family to ensure the agenda is achieved.

Speaking on Otec FM’s afternoon political talk-show dubbed ‘Dwaberem’ last Friday, COKA observed that some people think they need position or appointment in the party before working for the party’s victory, which he said, should not be the case.

“I want all members of our great party to fulfill their core membership duties of protecting the NPP to make it attractive for others to join and maximize our chances of winning the 2024 elections”, he urged.

Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah pledged his commitment to do whatever possible within his power to ensure the party breaks the 8.
He called on the party to form a strong force and united front, especially in the Ashanti region to face the opposition parties, particularly the NDC.

Majority of Ghanaians, he stated, will never forgive NPP supporters if the party fails to win the 2024 general election.
