“Only five out 50 communities in the Kworli traditional area are connected to the national grid with three ongoing projects. I am therefore appealing to you on behalf of the people to assist us connect Laribanga, Maa/Finaayili, Bagmani, Tindang, Subruni, Nagbumba, Kukuokpanga, Dazuligbuni and Binyinkumdo to national grid”, he urged.

In his response, the Vice President promised that these challenges will be fixed.

Dr Bawumia appealed to Chiefs and people of the Kworli traditional area in the Zabzugu constituency to vote massively for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for the area, John Benaam Jabaah and President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to bring the needed development to the area.

“When you vote John Benaam as your MP all these problems will be resolved because he can walk to my office and Nana Akufo-Addo’s but if you vote an NDC MP, he cannot come to me or the President, he cannot work he will be in parliament taking tea which will not bring you development”

“Do you want an MP who goes to parliament to drink tea or you want an MP who will work to bring development” he further asked the gathering.

Vice President Bawumia thanked the Chiefs and people of the area for their warm words and urged them to continue to support President Akufo-Addo to enable him continue with his all-inclusive development policies.
