Borussia Dortmund have announced a legendary football match in Ghana between the BVB Legends Team and the Africa Legends Team.

The Borussia Dortmund Team will partake in other activities including coaching clinics, Cooperate Social Responsibility activities, and a golf tournament.

These activities will be capped off by the legends match which will include iconic Africa football stars Asamoah Gyan, Abedi Ayew Pele, Stephen Appiah, and many others. This will be done in partnership with Shooting Stars FC.

Dortmund has had a good relationship with Ghana for a very long time and some Ghanaian stars like Kevin-Prince Boateng, Ibrahim Tanko, Otto Addo, Matthew Amoah, and others have played for the club. Recent, they allowed Otto Addo, who is a coaching staff with take up national duties for the Black Stars as they qualified to the world Cup.

The team will be in Ghana from 8th to 12 June, 2022. A member of the Management team, Carsten Cramer is quoted to have said: “Over the past decades, BVB has enjoyed a vibrant and fruitful history with top talents from Africa, and attracted a number of excellent African players. We are all excited that this first-ever BVB Legends Ghana tour will finally take place!”
