He seized the social media medium to invite all proud sons and daughters of the kingdom to return home to observe the ancient festival.

“I want to use this opportunity once again to invite all proud sons and daughters of the Great Nanung Kingdom from far and near to come in their numbers this coming Tuesday, 3rd October for the Naa Damba celebration for us to show to the world that the once greatest Nanung Kingdom is back again in full operation” he implored.

“The best way to show the world who we really are is through festivities like this. God bless us all” he emphasized.

There is relative calm and stability presently in the Nanumba North municipality and economic activities in the area are steadily improving.

Meanwhile, the Northern Regional Peace Council (NRPC) at a recent stakeholders’ forum indicated the Nanung chieftaincy stalemate remains a major concerned in maintaining peace and security in the northern region.

Many people anticipate an amicable resolution of the impasse by the sole mediator, the Awomefia of Anlo, Torgbui Sri III, who is also President of the Anlo Traditional Council,.
